About Remote Hiring Stack

Remote Hiring Stack is an independent editorial project that reviews the platforms companies use to hire, employ and run distributed engineering teams. We are not any of the platforms listed, and we don’t provide hiring services ourselves — we point you to the tools and explain what each is for.

How we choose what to list

We start from a broad set of remote-hiring services and open every one’s live site by hand before it goes on the list. That check matters: in our last pass it caught several entries that were mislabeled and turned out to be a travel site, a furniture shop and a clothing retailer — none of which belong on a hiring guide. Only platforms whose live product matches the category make it in.

How we make money

Some of the outbound links are affiliate links: if you sign up with a platform after clicking through, we may earn a referral fee. That never changes what makes the list or how platforms are grouped — selection is based on what the product actually does, not on any referral arrangement. Every affiliate link is marked nofollow sponsored.

Independence & accuracy

Descriptions are based on each platform’s own public positioning, checked live on 2026-07-17. Where a site was unreachable for a live check, we say so on the card rather than guess. If something is out of date or wrong, tell us and we’ll fix it.
